How to connect Hostfully to hostAI

hostAI is the AI growth platform for short-term rental brands. hostFront, the direct booking website and booking engine, runs on your own domain and stays in sync with Hostfully. hostMail (guest email) and hostDistro (managed Google and ChatGPT ads) run on top of it. Connecting takes a few minutes and needs no API keys: you approve hostAI inside Hostfully, then choose which properties to share.

Step 1: Create your hostAI account and choose Hostfully

1. Go to app.gethostai.com and click Get started.
2. Enter your company information.
3. Select Hostfully as your property management system.

Step 2: Authorize hostAI in Hostfully

1. Click Integration Page. A window opens titled Connect hostAI to your Hostfully account.
2. Enter your email (the same email as your hostAI account) and your phone number, then click Connect Hostfully Account.
3. Log in to Hostfully and authorize hostAI.
4. When you see Hostfully account successfully connected!, click Close window.

Step 3: Choose which properties to share

1. Open Hostfully's Integrations page.
2. Find the hostAI integration and open its settings. If you see more than one integration named hostAI, choose the one written in all black letters.
3. Flip the toggle next to each property you want on your site. Only the properties you toggle on are shared with hostAI.

Step 4: hostAI builds your site

Back in hostAI, click Continue. hostAI starts syncing your listings, photos, rates, availability and reservations, and your site preview is ready in as little as 24 hours. The hostAI team reaches out to connect your Stripe account for guest payments, configure your domain, review the preview with you and schedule go-live.

What stays in sync

• Listings and photos: new and updated Hostfully listings appear on your site automatically.
• Rates and availability: pulled from Hostfully so guests always see live pricing and open dates.
• Reservations: bookings made on your hostAI site are created in Hostfully, so your calendar, channels and guest messaging keep working as before.

After go-live

• Two blog posts a week are written, fact-checked and published to your site for you.
• SEO pages are generated from your inventory, and every page is structured so Google and AI assistants can read your proposition, rates and availability.
• When you are ready, add hostMail to bring past guests back direct and hostDistro to run Google and ChatGPT ads to intent-matched landing pages.

Do I need to change anything in Hostfully?

No. Hostfully keeps running your operations. hostAI reads the properties you share and creates direct bookings back in Hostfully as a channel.

Can I keep my current website?

Yes. hostFront can run on a subdomain such as book.yourbrand.com alongside your existing site, or take over your root domain. Both are reversible.

How do guests pay?

hostAI charges guests through your own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you and hostAI never holds guest funds. Connecting Stripe is part of setup.

Can I add more properties later?

Yes. Toggle them on in the hostAI integration settings in Hostfully and they sync to your site.
