How to connect OwnerRez to hostAI

hostAI is the AI growth platform for short-term rental brands. hostFront, the direct booking website and booking engine, runs on your own domain and stays in sync with OwnerRez. hostMail (guest email) and hostDistro (managed Google and ChatGPT ads) run on top of it. Connecting takes a few minutes and needs no API keys: you approve hostAI inside OwnerRez, then turn on one OwnerRez setting.

Step 1: Create your hostAI account and choose OwnerRez

1. Go to app.gethostai.com and click Get started.
2. Enter your company information.
3. Select OwnerRez as your property management system.

Step 2: Open the integration page

1. Click Integration Page. A small window opens with your email and phone number filled in.
2. Check both fields. Use the same email as your hostAI account.
3. Click Connect OwnerRez Account. You are sent to OwnerRez to approve the connection.

Step 3: Authorize hostAI in OwnerRez

1. Log in to OwnerRez when prompted.
2. Click Authorize hostAI.
3. When the hostAI window shows OwnerRez account successfully connected!, click Close window.

Important: log in to OwnerRez with the email you use for OwnerRez. Signing in with a different account, such as a personal Gmail, can make the connection fail even though every step looks like it worked.

Back on the Connect PMS step, hostAI finishes the connection on its own and shows Connected to OwnerRez. If the screen does not move on, click Continue.

Step 4: Turn on WordPress Plugin + Integrated Sites in OwnerRez

hostAI reads your full listing content through OwnerRez's WordPress Plugin + Integrated Sites feature. Without it, photos, descriptions and amenities are missing from your site.

1. In OwnerRez, open Account → Billing.
2. Enable WordPress Plugin + Integrated Sites.

Step 5: hostAI builds your site

hostAI validates the connection and starts syncing your listings, photos, rates, availability and reservations. Your site preview is ready in as little as 24 hours. The hostAI team reaches out to configure your domain, review the preview with you and schedule go-live.

What stays in sync

• Listings and photos: new and updated OwnerRez listings appear on your site automatically.
• Rates and availability: pulled from OwnerRez so guests always see live pricing and open dates.
• Reservations: bookings made on your hostAI site are created in OwnerRez, so your calendar, channels and guest messaging keep working as before.

Do I need to change anything in OwnerRez?

Only one setting: turn on WordPress Plugin + Integrated Sites under Account → Billing so hostAI can read your full listing content. OwnerRez keeps running your operations, and direct bookings are created back in OwnerRez as a channel.

Can I keep my current website?

Yes. hostFront can run on a subdomain such as book.yourbrand.com alongside your existing site, or take over your root domain. Both are reversible.

How do guests pay?

Guests complete payment on OwnerRez's own checkout, so payments keep flowing through your OwnerRez setup as they do today.
